Virus Causes LRWF To Postpone Activities

The Lamorinda Republican Women Federated is postponing its meetings and social events until further notice because of the pandemic, President Eve Gordon announced today. “We all look forward to returning to our normal events and activities when the coronavirus is no longer a threat,” she said.  “As of now, we do not know how long the Centers For Disease Control’s recommendations for quarantine will remain in effect.

She noted that “our leaders have heard the pleas for an end to the shutdown and a for a certain date that normal activities can resume. Our economy cannot endure much more of this without a total collapse.”

Gordon pointed out that there will be many opportunities politically to become involved in the upcoming election and members will be kept informed of the issues. “We all need to pitch in and help elect Republicans on November 3,” she said.  “You can be active now by contacting your representatives regarding issues.  Just click on the Take Action tab on the website and scroll to the bottom for the contact list.”
