The Lincoln Project-Are We Being Deceived Again?

President Eve Gordon sent the following letter to Republican leaders today:

Dear Lamorinda Republican Women Federated Members,

The Lincoln Project is a super pac formed in December 2019 by a group of current and former Republican political consultants whose mission is to defeat President Trump in the 2020 election along with his supporters in the U.S. Senate, and to support Joe Biden.  I am writing to let you know that action needs to be taken immediately to replace Mike Madrid as a delegate to the Republican Convention. We have learned that Madrid is co-founder and advisory board member of the Lincoln Project.

You may wonder how this happened. Madrid is an Appointive Delegate of the Republican State Central Committee. He was appointed by former Republican Assemblyman Chad Mayes, who now currently has “No Party Preference.” The Lincoln Project has released numerous ads targeting President Trump and seven U.S. Senate incumbents. The goal PAC’s stated goal is to elect Joe Biden and gain a Democratic majority in the Senate. 

We urge you to contact the California Republican Party at 916-448-9496 to request Madrid be replaced. And, as a group, we are reaching out to others to do the same.  We hope you will, too.
