Twitter Files #13: Scott Gottlieb Pfizer Board Member / Former FDA Commissioner and his push to suppress discussion of the COVID vaccine
(Alex Berenson - 01/09/2023)
Twitter File #13, written by Alex Berenson, is the prelude to the Fauci Files that are still forthcoming. In this edition, Alex discusses former FDA Commissioner and current head of board executive committee member and head of regulatory and compliance committee member of Pfizer, Inc. allegedly acted to suppress what turns out to be current information related to the safety COVID vaccines. In Alex’s review of the Twitter documents, he found that on 08/27/2021, Scott Gottlieb (who at the time had over 550,000 followers) came across a tweet made by Brett Giroir, M.D., who was the FDA commissioner prior to Gottlieb, that Gottlieb thought might hurt the sales of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine. The tweet correctly discussed how “natural immunity after COVID infection was superior to vaccine protection” and implored the White House to “follow the science” and give an exemption to those having had COVID from having to take the vaccine. Dr. Giroir ended his tweet with “Get vaccinated.,” but that was not enough for Gottlieb who emailed Todd O’Boyle (lobbyist in Twitter’s Washington DC office and contact between the White House and Twitter) stating that these kinds of tweets were corrosive and likely to go viral. Twitter employees reviewed the tweet and found that it did not violate their policies, but despite that the tweet was flagged by Twitter with a tag stating that it was misleading. Gottlieb contacted O’Boyle again on 09/03/2021 complaining about another tweet, this time from Justin Hart (lockdown/COVID vaccine skeptic) who wrote: “Sticks and stones may break my bones but a viral pathogen with a child mortality rate of <>0% has cost our children nearly three years of schooling.” The timing was interesting because Pfizer was in line to receive approval of their vaccine for 5–11-year-olds. Gottlieb apparently thought that if parents were convinced that COVID was not really a threat to their children, they would not get them the vaccine. Twitter refused to act.
However, Gottlieb was pressuring Twitter to take action against Alex Berenson because of his work discussing COVID and questioning the efficacy and safety of the vaccine.
Of note, Pfizer has reportedly earned $81 billion in sales in 2021, with almost half of that being attributed to the mRNA vaccine. Gottlieb reportedly earned $365,000 for his work on the various aforementioned committees.

Twitter Files #14: THE RUSSIAGATE LIES One: The Fake Tale of Russian Bots and the #ReleaseTheMemo Hashtag
(Matt Taibbi - 01/12/2023)
This release reviews Twitter documents involving three Democratic congresspersons, among others, who approached Twitter to squelch the reports that there were “flaws in the Trump-Russia” investigation claiming that a result of Russian “bots” (software app that simulates human activity) or “trolls” (Per Merriam-Websters: person who antagonizes others online). Twitter employees researched and found that there was no Russian influence and expressed concern about the potential future actions of the politicians. On 01/23/18, Senator Dianne Feinstein and congressperson Adam Schiff released a statement stating that the hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo had gone viral with the assistance of those with Russian influence. Senator Richard Blumenthal joined in releasing a letter stating: “We find it reprehensible that Russian agents have so eagerly manipulated innocent Americans.” These claims of Russian influence on Twitter became more amplified by the media and other politicians despite Twitter’s insistence that there was no evidence at all of Russian involvement. Twitter, however, never officially went on the record to correct the story that Russians were involved with discrediting the Trump-Russia investigation.
In another situation, on 01/18/2021, following a letter from Devon Nunes to the House Intel Committee laying out the FBI abuses in the FISA process leading to the surveillance of Trump allies, specifically the use of the “Steele Dossier,” the media denounced Nunes’ contentions calling it a “joke.”
