Senate Appropriations:  hearing on April 24

SB 59   Menstrual Products (would mandate for all public schools and state-funded places products in all bathrooms including men’s)

SB 541 Sexual Health: contraceptives: immunizations (would require internal and external condoms available at 7-12 grade schools with publicity)

SB 760 All gender bathrooms  (all govt schools would have to have at least one all gender bathroom)

Senate Rules: no hearing at present

AB 957 Family Law: gender identity (custody battles preferring parent affirming child’s chosen gender)

SUPPORT

Senate Public Safety: hearing on April 25

SB 14 Serious Felonies by Shannon Grove (human trafficking would be included as serious felony affecting 3 strikes)

 OPPOSE

Assembly Education: hearing on April 26

AB 5        Safe and Supportive Schools Act  (mandate that teachers and school personnel have LGBTQ=training)

AB 1078 Instructional Materials  (diversity materials only removed by State BOE)

 

Urgent to support AB1314  Gender identity: parental notification  (Ed Com Chr. refuses to hold hearing.  Important bill to have heard.  Call Chr. Al Muratsuchi to hold hearing.  916-319-2066 and Grayson and Bauer-Kahan)
